School House Rockin’!
Our School House Rockin’ Teacher Resource program is designed to support teachers, particularly those in Title I schools. We provide free gently used books, new school supplies, and engaging classroom sets of high-interest books. You can visit us up to two times a week for gently used books and receive new supplies once a month for your classroom. We’re here for you! If you’re interested in learning more, contact us at reach@reachreads.org.
Bulk Book Distribution!
In our mission to make literacy accessible to everyone, the Bulk Book Distribution program by REACH plays an essential role! We believe the magic of a book extends far beyond its pages, and our mission is to share that joy with as many people as possible. Partnering with local agencies, we provide new books at little to no cost, spreading smiles and knowledge along the way. These wonderful programs, dedicated to literacy and community service, help us share the happiness that books bring! If you have any questions, contact us at reach@reachreads.org.
The Big Free Bookstore
Help us run our FREE bookstore located in JANAF Shopping Yard in Norfolk! We need volunteers to greet and assists the families and children who visit. Please note that ALL volunteers will need to be 18+ (16 or 17 with guardian permission), complete and pass a level 2 background check through Sterling Volunteers, and sign a COVID-19 waiver. Volunteers will assist with REACH merchandise sales, as well as restocking small bookshelves with new books provided on-site.
